First of all, not everyone knows about it. in fact most walkthroughs and guides don’t mention it as a romance option at all, which is a shame.
More importantly it’s a knockout love story, not only for a video game but for historical fiction, period. I was floored.
i’ll admit i assumed (based on the writers at warhorse treating women a…certain way [historical accuracy idk]) that the gay romance storyline would be a cruel joke, some infantile homophobic gross-out moment—instead, Hans is evoking legendary knights (suggesting lancelot was gay?) and its emotional and beautiful and kinda sexxayyyy.
THANK YOU WARHORSE. who wrote this storyline? where did it come from?
i don’t know if these scenes were mo-capped by the actors but if so please share the bts. ❤️🌈
“It was really important to us, especially in the current political climate, to put this in the game.”

Blobun is an indie puzzle game currently making waves on social media thanks to a joke setting that eliminates its lesbian content. The problem? Blobun protagonist Stephanie is gay, so flipping the so-called “lesbian toggle” in the options menu removes her from the game and renders it totally unplayable.
I actually didn't think that games like these would exist especially a non-gay game, but I recently played DMC 5, and was surprised with Nero's and Dante's bulges, had to go photo mode every while to check them :3 but I can't seem to find other games like this.
Edit: I only searched for other non-gay focused games (which I prefer) and didn't find anything, but gay focused games are fine too.
And now I have a hard time going back to playing women in relationships with men for my solo games like I always did haha…
It felt nice having something that was “me” in a game and I didn’t realize just how much I wanted that in a videogame.
So on to the question! Does anyone know of any -VR- (Quest or PCVR, Steam or GOG or anything idc) games aside from Skyrim that support same sex relationships, I don’t want it as the main focus (though if you know one let me know) — literally any kind of RPG or Simulation at this point I just want to feel how I felt in BG3 again but in VR 😂
Think Kingdom Come II where the main thing is RPG but then you can also have a same sex relationship.
Hell, I would even play something like The Sims at this point!
I accidentally bought Medieval Dynasty thinking it would be kinda like Kingdom Come II when it came to relationships (I know, my bad) and now I’m just sad.
