Since this community is ostensibly about being frugal, and not necessarily about sales, I thought I would share an exceptional value in footwear—Meermin Mallorca. Most of their dress shoes are about $200. Get to a store if you can, to get sizing right. Some models might have a break-in period, but will last a very long time, as they use good leathers from tanneries they can actually name and goodyear welted construction or better. They're better than anything you'd get from Thursday Boots, Beckett Simonon, or similar brands in this price range.
Remember: if you don't like the shoe, buying it is not frugal. Only buy things you actually want, regardless of how good of a deal they might seem to be. I feel like I shouldn't need to say that, but... There we are.
Cheaper alternative to Tommy Bahama?
Anybody know of a good brand/source to look for floral shirts? Something between $100+ Tommy Bahama and Chinese garbage on Amazon?
Ideally in the neighborhood of $40 per shirt. Trying to build out my cruise wear, ala Frank Costanza
