Can hair curves be parented to an armature?
I have a human character with hair and facial hair (beard, eyelashes eyebrows) made with curves from separate meshes like a scalp. I am attempting to rig my character, but when I select automatic weights for the base meshes, the hair doesn't move at all, and the hair itself can only be parented to a bone. This is fine for the head hair, but not so much for the rest.
Is it possible to achieve rig deformation with curve hair?

Thoroughly Stoked
From this tutorial
I am actively learning new things and put a bit of line art on it. I am absolutely enamored with 3-D to 2D stylistically and it’s just just not quite there yet for me.. maybe soon :T
Luxcore on Blender 4.3.2 openCL compile
It's brutal! Why can't it compile the openCL kernel 1 time and then store it somewhere for later use or something? Plz?
New sculpting brush toolbar hotkey?
I tried searching for this, but to no avail. Previous versions of Blender had a Sculpting brush toolbar hotkey, Shift+Space, for bringing up the brush slection in the Viewport. It seems to have changed with one of the latest update, does anyone know the new one?

My Various amateur attempts at 3D art (more in OP)
Here are some very beginner attempts at 3D art I made for a personal sci-fi worldbuilding project. I knew absolutely nothing about 3D art (art in general, really) until January of last year when I downloaded Blender on a lark and started poking around. Why not? It's free. Texturing and shading is proving quite daunting, so I've been sticking with a more primitive style. Kinda reminds me of the show ReBoot.

And another one.
Spaceship (Modeled in Plasticity but textured in Blender)
The planet Yih. It's kinda like Earth, 'cept it has a ring.

This book SUCKED. And not due to its informational value!!!
It was because the pages tended to pop off. It's a shitty binding, see?
The publisher, Not a Number (aka Blender's custodian corp) issued a recall, and offered to do spiral binding on these things. I was a university entrant. Book swappage could have been expensive. Didn't do it.
So I have a book that creaks. Half of it dedicated to turbo rad late 1990s art.
