Arc Browser @lemmy.world Lukas @lemm.ee Clear cookies on quit on windows?
I recently installed Arc browser for Windows, but it seems that the browser is unable to clear cookies upon quitting. Does anyone know if this feature is planned, or can someone confirm whether this is already supported on macOS? Thanks in advance

Arc Browser @lemmy.world vermyndax @lemmy.world January 30th, 2024 Speculation Megathread
OK, hopefully this will actually turn into a megathread... but if you haven't seen it: We're not building a web browser
Let's speculate! What do you think they will reveal on Jan. 30th, 2024?

Arc Browser @lemmy.world theherk @lemmy.world Has The Browser Company made any statements about Manifest v3 and Arc?
I’m curious if they have made any public statements on the topic. Now that the deprecation of MV2 is back on a schedule, a lot of Chromium forks will be affected by the change.
I’m a huge FLOSS and Firefox fan, but Arc’s UX is unparalleled in my view and I’ve switched for the time.
I can’t find anything on their website, YouTube, or Discord that makes a firm statement on the topic, but it would be very reassuring if they would or have.

Arc Browser @lemmy.world vermyndax @lemmy.world How is everyone's battery consumption?
Running the latest Arc 1.13.1, seems like the battery consumption is a bit better than the prior releases. Anyone else noting better performance/consumption?

Arc Browser @lemmy.world radicallife @lemm.ee Loving Arc Browser
I decided to go all in on the browser and I must say I absolutely love spaces - using it for work with all my old chrome extensions and setting up different profiles. It's lovely.

Arc Browser @lemmy.world rarkgrames @lemmy.world New Arc User
I've just installed Arc browser and will see how I get on. It will be interesting to see whether it helps organise things and improve my workflows.
I'm always keen to try new things so who knows, maybe it will become my browser of choice.
I'd be interested to hear of things that might be useful to know about Arc, hints and tips to improve my experience.
Edit: Ok so I've had a chance to play around with this browser fora little while and so far it's great. Spaces are great, split views I love (hellooooo CHatGPT and whatever I'm working on in the same tab) and I'm looking forward to trying out Profiles.
I've just got to hope when I install it on my work laptop the IT department don't get wind of it LOL
