Bought my bike used from a flea market and gave it a year to be stolen given that im living in a city. It’s not really junk, it’s a low end single speed but still...
Thing is, it got never stolen and am still commuting with it, 4years and counting. I’ve got so attached to it i wouldn’t know how to live without it any more. I even got a little tracker thing (in one of the three possible places you can put one on a bike…)
Man, i always expected a news like that they just gave of the same vibes vercel did. Always postponed switching provider though. Not anymore, thanks for sharing.
Great work! How was the original replica made? The body looks factory made. I wouldn’t now how to make it myself. (20 years ago no less) Are those spare parts you slapped together?
I do not use MacOS anymore but when I did I have bought Pixelmator, it's really good. Atleast when I have used it, the company behind it was bought by Apple since then.
Wish there would be something similar for Linux :( Gimp is like the opposite of intuitive.
Do you actually want super light laptops? I feel like there is a sweet spot, but who knows maybe I would even want one, never held it in my hands/used it.
I feel like this comes at the cost of repairability as well though.
I make a list, tick off the first couple of things then, for whatever reason, forget about the list completely and go through the store winging it and forgetting half of the things that were left on there. every single time.
FYI: I know this is not "built in" but on Firefox it is super easy to install an AdBlocker, like its about 6 seconds with a decent internet connection and precise mouse movements. Have to opt out of AI shit as well though.
This is a real sentence a (allegedly) real human being wrote. :)
