    TLDR basically the size and frequency of data being sent to and from a website acts like a digital fingerprint even if ISPs can't see what's in those data packets. Looks like there's an easy fix by having VPNs add random background noise data.

  • I was a lifelong android user, mostly pixels, and switched to a an iPhone 14 pro 4 years ago. This is the first phone I've had that's lasted 3+ years, that's never crashed, and still runsas quickly and smoothly as when I bought it. Apple would have to seriously fuck something up for me to ever go back to an android.

  • Apple music has a built in library transfer system. I moved over to apple music over the weekend because they also have the ability to add songs to someone else's queue - something my friends and I use a lot. Was super easy to set up and the quality is noticeably better than Spotify's.

  • I switched to apple music over the weekend and I'm very happy with it. I listen to a lot of music with friends so I specifically wanted a service that had the ability to let other people add to your music queue and apple has that. Apple has a built in library transfer so the switch was easy and you'll save money if you have a family plan or and/or also subscribe to apple tv.

  • October 14th is also George Floyd's birthday. If it passes I'll be celebrating George Floyd Day of Remembrance. It's actually perfect. They still won't be able to control the narrative.

  • I spend more of my free time gaming because it's cheap and there have been fantastic games released lately. Definitely more depressed this year but it's just the state of the world. Doing what I can to protect my peace. It's kinda felt kinda like covid all over again.

  • Same. I started cutting back on everything I could at the beginning of the year.

    Switched from fast food to takeout from local restaurants, canceled all my Amazon subscribe and save orders, and bought everything I possibly could from Costco. I've actually saved a lot this year.
