Don’t fall for trumps propaganda; like in the USA (and many many other countries) hamas is a labeled a terrorist organization, and like in the USA, anti-semitism isnt allowed in most EU countries. Hate speech against minorities is actively removed, but if I open my front door and shout : the Israel government is killing Palestinians, nobody on Germany or the eu will prosecute me. Again, dont fall for trumps narrative, he’s a liar.

  • Nope, the EU is all in favor of free speech, this site won’t be banned, US Americans can publish any brainfarts they want. Don’t fall for trump’s propaganda. (Within Europe, hate speech can lead to legal repercussions, laws do not allow eg the harassment of children, women, minorities, politicians, or (very limited and well defined) attacks against our constitutions or democracy; that’s where freedom of speech may, in extreme cases, end).

  • Politics is always a compromise, also for a voter. People forget that; they start thinking black&white, in good and evil, and then start to make mistakes - and the more extreme politicians win. The second aspect: instead of complaining about politicians, become politically active, join the party that you like most, and focus again on compromising, within your party and with the other side. The world isn’t black and white there’s an awful lot of grey too.

We live in the European Union, a union of democratic states, with freedom of press, speech and a strong judicial system, and on top of that an economic free trade zone of 1/2 billion people. And we have a beautiful flag, a circle of proud stars on blue. And our anthem is based on a beautiful poem from Schiller, the music composed by Beethoven no less. The dictatorships of the USA, Russia and china, are much more in a “project” stage. And forget about orban and fico: scavenger dogs at best, soon to be forgotten. Good luck, Rubio-babes.
