I had pretty liberal views during that time, it wasn’t until 2020 that I really became involved in Marxism and leftist spaces but it was a pretty quick process once I did.
I just met someone who made me question my beliefs. That’s all it took really. I had already been disillusioned by my right wing family and had been spending my entire life rebelling against them anyway.
Yeah although they aren’t getting anywhere near as many views now by the looks of things. If Boogie2988 can lie about having cancer, bothsides abuse and the Holocaust, scam his fans out of money and still keep an audience then nothing is surprising to me.
I didn’t play many new games this year but my favourite was Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. Haven’t played Dispatch or Elden Ring yet. Apart from that I played a lot of Minecraft, Mortal Kombat, Diablo 4, Skyrim, and Hotline Miami.
The misogyny in the Breaking Bad fandom is inexcusable. Despite being a survivor of SA, verbal and mental and likely financial abuse and being married to a literal serial killer, Skyler is treated like the devil just for “being annoying.”
My mental health has always been pretty shit but it’s nosedived even further since 2024. I don’t see this year being anything new.
But I am glad to have this community. It’s nice to know I’m not alone in the world, even if it does feel like that sometimes.
