I'm tired of this discourse that conservatives are too dumb and therefore can't understand what's going on or the result of their choices.
They can. Being dumb is just their shield, but they're fully aware of what's going on and their decisions - they agree with them.
They're not too dumb and accidentally elected a pedophile... they know, they feel the same and would love to get away with it. They're not too dumb to see ICE is fascist, they love it, they have been waiting for decades for the chance to be openly fascist. They are not too dumb to believe trans people are ruining sports... they know they aren't, but they want to make trans people miserable, they don't care about the excuse.
Are they dumb? Yes, but that's inconsequential, that's not the reason they behave the way they do. An eight year old child is also not very smart, but they are more than capable of empathy.
I'd be unemployed and in trouble, but sometimes I do wish a gigantic solar storm would cut off the internet for a year. Humanity needs the reset. Please stop shoving Wi-Fi into every device.
Everyone not on Nintendo's bubble knew a while ago. The Switch 2 was being discounted in ways that no successful console would be, the PS5 outsold it in key markets, and third party software sales for the Switch 2 are abysmally low.
Sorry, how is that list of countries that are not the US and do not have the US Army are related to my comment about how US citizens carrying guns is irrelevant against their own military?
Consider learning how to read before offering to write even more. Thanks.
Guns in the US have always been a fetish, and the whole "anti-tyranny" discourse is just the excuse needed to justify ignoring gun deaths to feed that fetish.
Buy a gun, stroke it, buy accessories, buy a case, talk about gun safety using military terminology as if you're some tactician in a war instead of a loser coming back home from McDonald's, go to a shooting range to finally use the thing, point it at an innocent after a driving dispute. Its a fetish.
You're not going to stop tyranny with your handgun if your army spends a trillion dollars and could turn your city into a flat landscape in mere moments.
It also applies to games. Play a SNES or PS1 era game and you need to remember, plan ahead, solve problems, map out your path.
Play a modern game and its thirteen icons flashing showing you the exact linear path towards the NPC with the simplest dialogue to solve the simplest quest.
My Galaxy S23 will take a picture, I'll see how beautiful it is for around 4 seconds and then it will replace it - without my consent OR keeping the original - with an "enhanced" version that oversharpens everything and at the same time turns all detail into watercolor blobs that make detail vanish.
It's functionally useless, and supposed to be one of the best smartphone cameras.
My professor had one and I never understood the point. Then it broke, I took it home and fixed it (he bought a new one and gave it to me) and boy it changed my life, I'm team electric kettle for life
This battery phenomenon actually boggles my mind, if somebody knows what's going on and is willing to help clarify.
Lithium batteries are lithium batteries. They all degrade over time and with cycle count, nothing manufacturers can do about it.
But why are lithium batteries from the GameBoy Advance still capable of holding a charge today, and why you can find old power sucking laptops with original batteries that at least hold charge for an hour, but modern lithium batteries simply die after three years?
Microsoft One Copilot would bean incredibly Microsoft thing to call Windows
