  • I would never think to talk someone out of that opinion. Good products sell themselves quickly through word of mouth, only shit needs to be hyped. Then, some people hate to admit they were swindled, and will pretend they enjoy a shitty product or service and help others be lured in.

  • To be clear, I’m not asking you to change your message or censor yourself. I could turn the ego question back on you. Why should anyone read such large amounts of text, not knowing someone’s credentials? They likely won’t, and will move on. I’m 50, and just learned this 3 years ago myself. If you saw my old reddit account, you would have seen similar walls of text. I still say the same things. but, now i feel like more people actually listen, learn, and respond.

  • These are all great points. May I give you a little unsolicited advice? It will be the same advice that I believe made me more effective with my messaging. also, it was hard advice for me to get at the time, but it has worked wonders.

I’m also very much on the spectrum, so I’m more likely to read a wall of text than one of our peers lol. But, the people that you need to reach and teach (and you have many good things to teach) are not like us. They can only consume bite-sized nuggets, and they like to connect ideas on their own. Brevity is your friend.

Even our dumbest fellow humans are smarter than we give credit. We are all essentially large language models that are parroting what we have been taught, or looking for patterns that we have learned. We all learn better when we think we’re doing it on our own, versus having someone else do it for us.
