Staatsanwaltschaft: Anschlag auf Stromversorgung in Erkrath

Die Staatsanwaltschaft Wuppertal hat bestätigt, dass es einen Anschlag auf die Stromversorgung in Erkrath gab.
Nach Angaben der Staatsanwaltschaft sind die Ermittler über ein Bekennerschreiben im Netz aufmerksam geworden. Die Polizei habe daraufhin das Umspannwerk in Erkrath überprüft. Staatsanwalt Wolf-Tilman Baumert bestätigte dem WDR, dass es diesen Anschlag gab.
Unbekannte hätten versucht, dort einen Brandsatz zu zünden. Laut Bekennerschreiben vom Kommando Angry Birds" auf der offenen linksgerichteten Plattform indymedia wollten die Täter offenbar ein Industriegebiet lahmlegen. "Unsere Grenzen sind überschritten. Deshalb haben wir vor einiger Zeit einen Brandsatz unter einen der beiden Transformatoren im Umspannwerk Unterfeldhaus angebracht". Treffen wolle man vor allem das Industriegebiet in der Erkrather Max-Planck-Straße. Das Umspannwerk konnte laut Staatsanwaltschaft jedoch die ganze Zeit in Betrieb bleiben.
Täter: Grillanzünder abgefüllt
Die Täter datierten ihr Bekennerschreiben auf Montag, den 5.01.2025. Man habe 9 Liter Grillanzünder in 18 0,5-Liter Plastikflaschen abgefüllt und in einen großen Kochtopf und einen pyrotechnischen Zünder eingesetzt, schreibt das Kommando Angry Birds.
Die Schriftzüge, die die mutmaßlichen Täter nach eigenen Angaben auf die Wände eines Trafohäuschens gesprüht haben, waren auch am Mittwoch noch deutlich sichtbar. Mit roter Sprühfarbe unser Kürzel ist das Kürzel für Kommando Angry Birds, "KAB", zu lesen sowie "SWITCH OFF", zu deutsch "ausschalten".

Der Brandsatz sei ein Angriff auf die kritische Infrastruktur gewesen, sagte der ermittelnde Staatsanwalt Baumert dem WDR. "Wenn er funktioniert hätte, hätte es möglicherweise einen großflächigen Stromausfall gegeben." Er geht von einem erheblichen Tatunrecht aus, das Freiheitsstrafen nach sich ziehen könnte. Mittlerweile hat der Staatsschutz in Düsseldorf die Ermittlungen übernommen.

and a common feeling that nearly everyone has had at one time.
It's true that these are common feelings.
The racist rage bait I was referring to is the casual suicide bombing and musings about naked virgins. Would you agree that these aren't common things that nearly everyone has, but rather racist tropes about brown people?
I had not considered that, so thanks for pointing that out. Upon checking the comic more closely, I don't get any hint that it's making fun of misogynists, but it's certainly possible.
