  • Putting the Space Weather page into my bookmarks bar now!

(I'm honestly shocked that this is still up, given what a shitshow the government is..)

  • Of course it is, if you enjoy the scent of hot steamy piss.

  • LOL! Thiel soup.. guaranteed to cause the shits!

I got permabanned for saying a naughty thing about Stephen Miller.

Found old.lemmy.zip, signed up and haven't missed a beat!

  • God's honest, I do not know! I was sitting in a cafe and trying to peck out a reply and the network was throwing a wobbler. All I recall is at the time the page wasn't responding when I went to post. I did actually have something written in the comment!

    Weird.

  • Nice.. I grabbed the picture of that post and am going to share it with my friends that are getting tired of the big social media sites.

    Thanks!

  • Notice, and pay mind to this and watch if it is more than just a one-off, that he's not wearing a MAGA hat anymore.

Let's see if he's done with MAGA now that he's gotten what he wants from them, and point it out if the USA hats become permanent.

Everythig with him is branding, so let's see what his next favorite is gonna be.

  • Off the top of my head, no. (It's been decades since I've thought about any of this, TBH..)

What you can do is branch out and read up on the people he had around him in government, like the Deputy Chair of the Soviet secret police, Lavrentiy Beria. (Now that's a dark hole to look in to, he was feared more than Stalin.)

Stalin was a thug at heart. Angry and conniving, but surrounded himself with even worse people. (Gee, who can we see as a mirror of that today? Yikes..)

Who he chose to do his bidding, that's where the full scope of the horror of Stalin can be found.

  • I would wager it’s as they don’t read actual historical documents of those who witnessed and survived Stalin, is why. Dude was bloody-minded as fuck, and in a tweenaged subset of the population, death, misery and degradations are “cool”.

The political flip side are the right-wing chuds that join ICE so they can tear families apart and “own” the left.

  • Sold overseas, absolutely. Domestically, it's been a more.. controversial subject. https://priceonomics.com/when-americans-ate-horse-meat/

Horse leather (shell cordovan specifically) was for years used to make police belts and holsters - it's heavier than cow leather and more supple.

  • For Advait Paliwal, Brown dropout and co-creator of Einstein, there isn’t one. “I think about horses,” he said. “They used to pull carriages, but when cars came around, I'd argue horses became a lot more free,”

No, they didn’t become more free. They became unnecessary and were sold by the millions for food. The peak of the horse population was just shy of 22 million animals around 1910 and has fallen to 2 million today.

This guy’s an idiot, who would relegate millions of people to ignorance and ultimately irrelevance as they are left behind in greater numbers in an economy that demands ever more amounts of actual intelligence to thrive in.

    Jesus, what a fool.

  • Welp.. time to bail on Twitch now too..

  • Uh oh.. I’m doomed to the scorn of our feline overlords..

  • Eeeeaaahhhhhh..

My eyes are burning reading that..

  • Sounds like some weird form of manmade tapioca. Hmm.

  • Well I nipped that bitch in the bud.

Just came in from shoveling the driveway - AND did the street margin up to the walkway of my house, leaving the curbstone exposed, so that the plow drivers will know where the edge is. Had a city worker come along and go tightly along the curb and got the stuff I'd chipped loose, so that was WAY hella nice of him. Get that road-crusty wet shit outta the way.

I will likely go out in another 5 hours and clean the space up where my husband parks, so he can just come in tonight after work with no problem.
