  • Is one of these free (license-wise) and open source?

  • Hey! Cool to see Galaxus cited on lemmy. We don't have Amazon in Switzerland but Galaxus/Digitec is pretty convenient too.

  • Do you have a ooni koda? How long do you preheat it again after one pie is done? My stone temp drops a bunch during cooking and I often found 10 minutes of heating are necessary to get back up to temp.

  • Have you heard of our lord and saviour nixOS?

  • I think a Google Pixel 6A would pretty much tick all of the boxes, especially when it comes to alternative ROMs, but only has 128GB of storage without SD Card. It's rated IP67 so should be ok for getting a bit wet.

  • Tiny kitchen so yes! The cafelat robot or v60 or aeropress or moka pot or cezve is going back to the cupboard after I'm done. The kettle and grinder stay out just like on your picture.

  • I've never used podman but always wondered if it was able to use the host's network stack to perform things like sending ICMP packets.

  • I have to concede it's been a few years since I used it, but saw reports of people having unstable Firefox installs in various places like Youtube and Mastodon. I will give it another go but I would love an alternative to try too.

  • How about Vivaldi? Is it also chromium based? Any experience with it? Been eying it as a potential replacement for brave. Firefox is such a mess I don't even want to touch it.

  • Been using this for a few months and now I don't know how I lived without it before.

  • Our Lord and Saviour Nix

  • This is the way. JH recommends go grind a bit finer than normal v60 and to use a slightly larger amount of grounds (16.25g). Personally I brew directly over the ice cubes but I don't think it makes a difference.

  • A static up is not required for a telegram bot as the telegram api acts as an intermediary with the clients.

  • Try both, but personally I had trouble with playback on my older android tablet with jellyfin and so I went with plex which works for me.

  • I use Hetzner and it's really good imo

  • They are indeed encrypted but the encryption key is stored in the user's profile on disk, which defies the purpose.

  • Go has its fair share of design problems and is not as memory efficient due to its garbage collector. Also it will probably always be linked to Google in some way.

  • If your domain is registered with cloudflare, they have an amazing tunnelling service that is free to point your domain to your own device at home!
