  • No offense, but if you're that absorbed with video games, are you really cut out for dating? I still give my boyfriend and girlfriend (open relationship) my time and attention even if I do play games with the buddies for hours (5 hours LOL).

  • Just speaking from experience, she could have problems and is using gaming as a form of escapism to get away from the situation. It could, but not definitely will, explain why she spends so much time on video games.

    I haven't left the house in 5 months and I often play video games to cope with the feeling of emptiness and desire to do nothing.

  • My parents were gonna name me Benjamin if I were a dude but they settled on Rebecca because I'm AFAB. I probably would have picked Benny as my nickname had I chosen the name.

  • I actually don't wear bras or binders. Ever since I encountered a trans guy who didn't wear binders but not bras either, just a shirt (optional) underneath and a hoodie and I came out as unlabeled but definitely trans and not cis, I didn't wear bras. Plus, I heard that binders can be uncomfortable, and I value comfort.

  • Whether she realizes it or not, that is homophobic in my opinion. I might be too sensitive, but yeah. She might not be consciously trying to or realizing it, but I feel like she should work on her reactions. I have heard of queer people who don't like seeing it everywhere, and it could be anywhere from internalized homophobia to just not wanting special treatment, but I feel like she should work on that because it sounds a LOT like homophobic popular girls' reactions in my old high school...
