  • But ... but... collector and exclusive content!

  • Sure ! And I discovered that only years later by reading a wiki page. But actually it make sense that it's also feasible this way.

  • Yes indeed, I know what you are talking about. But I would not really consider that the "normal" ending as described by OP. Even if the ending scene itself is exactly the same, it's a very different path and clearly a much harder one.

  • It was some small QoL changes in the UI and menus, recommended by my friend who recommended me the game. I don't remember exactly the changes but there was nothing big added or changed in the gameplay

  • That I never tried, but by boiling it enough that's what you will get in the end. I store it in concentrated liquid form, and it's more convenient to use this way for me.

  • Tes 3: Morrowind, every NPCs can be killed and of course if you kill some of them before they got usefull to progress the main quest you are locked.

At their death there is a notification message like "you fucked up, you can reload or continue to play in this world forever doomed". BUT, in my first playthrough some broken mod I installed was hiding this message ...

Also, in the same game you could lose quest item and be unable to finish the main quest. But that kind of require you to be stupid on purpose, because it's obvious what item are important.

EDIT: found the in game message: " With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created."

  • Careful with powdered chicken stock (or any stock) from supermarket brand. They may have nearly no calorie but a lot of fat, salt and other generally un healthy stuff.

Making chicken stock yourself take time but you can make big batches and use it through the week.

  • Sounds very good but definitely not low calorie as asked.

  • One of the recipe of my diet, nothing fancy but taste good for very good nutrional value:

Cook half portion green lens and half red rice (called "wild rice" sometimes) in salted boiling water.

Dice half an onion and cook it with the the oil from the tuna can in a hot pan. After few minutes add the tuna. Separate in small piece with a wooden spoon and cook for ten minutes.

When rice and lens are cooked, dry them, add to the pan, reduce heat to low and mix. Add herbs. Keep cooking and mixing for 4 minutes.

It also really depend the brand you buy. Try to take the cans cooked with olive oil or white wine.

  • Water gets into my 2002 WV polo tail light assembly, corrodes connectors, short circuit one of the lamp.

Car still work perfectly fine, changing the corroded circuit with a wire and replacing the light myself cost less than 5€, making new joint in the assembly to avoid more water another 5€.

Fuck new cars, my city is now forbiding my car to go downtown and plan to extend the exclusion zone in the next year. It's only based on the age and type of motor, not on the real consumption/emission ... I will probably have to buy new car soon with all this crap.

  • Yeah, such a long time that i'm sure the victim has forgotten this trauma after 7 years ... /s (obviously)

  • I didn't know about whisk being bought. I'm using it quite a lot, but i'm nearly never check the "communities" or "discover" pages.

The only recent change I didn't like was to add specific sections "breakfast, lunch, dinner" in the meal planner because it add 3 more clicks to correctly put a recipe where you want ...

I'm curious what change make you think it's going downhill ? So far It's still the best option I found for recipe + meal planner + groceries list app.

  • Exactly. Take 20 when there is no consequence of failure and plenty of time. Take 10 when there is plenty of time and no stresfull environment.

  • Ahah, it's in my mind for a long time already but it's a whole other money sink ! And I don't have space for now to install that.

  • Thieve tools are 3Gp but replacement picks are 3sp. Also, the tools are light bulks, and the replacement pick don't even list a bulk.

  • To me the time requirement looks fine. There is examples of super skilled people on YouTube who can pick good locks in less time than a round in pf, but they obviously are legendary.

My issue is the chance to break picks. That part seems unrealistic (even for a fantasy world) and it just add something to keep track of in a "video game" style.

My other issue is that from a gameplay perspective, if there is no ongoing fight and we are not in encounter mode, I don't see at all the point to make so many rolls and require several successes. I would be more inclined to a system with a lower DC and where the difference between your roll and a dc determine the time you spend to open it. I am kind of homebrewing it this way in my campaign, but I was not very consistent with my ruling for this ... I should think about it and write it somewhere.

In the end, if your players agree to a little homebrew, it's up to the GM to tweak the rules to fit the story. Are they trying to pick a lock while being chased with enemies dozen of meters behind ? Then it's important to clearly define how many rounds are needed and I would make a check per rounds. Otherwise, if they are calmly trying to open something without stress and with all the tools required, just make one check and determine the time spend (if it's relevant) from the result.

Are they in a dire situation with only one precious pick and without possibility to find more ? Then it's important to follow the rules to break it, otherwise just handwave it.

  • Tabletop RPG. I started in High school, you need only paper a pen and a set of dice, right ? All the rules can be found online anyway, right ?

But it's so much better to have the physical books. And you need more than one dice of each obviously. And this nice metal dice looks very good. I obviously need different set of dice with colors pattern that match my different characters.

Speaking of characters, I need mini. I could get the cheap basic one of course, but the lead ones looks sooo much better.

And I obviously need custom models for all my characters.

Several years later, with a disposable income and I added maps, tokens, terrains, cards, ect. Even a tablet that I use only for this. I'm now limited by the storage place available in my flat (maybe for my own good).
