Just armor and also can't cast spells. And they changed it to "Armor Training" now, but still proficiency for weapons? And the Martial Weapon Training feat gives you Martial Weapon proficiency? Gah

Yeah, Emirates might use this route. But US airlines would avoid Russia, Ukraine, Iran, and Syria, which forces then to fly much longer and approach over Iraq and across the Gulf.

Me too! With the global tariffs, I expect there to be street protests against Trump to attend in basically every country worldwide this spring and summer.

Each group was started for a specific reason so no, they will stay seperate to try to achieve their specific aims. I think its best to remember that orgs are just made up of people trying their best. Most people involved with one of those orgs are involved with many, and having many isn't a distraction, it's tactical to fight on different playing fields.
Indivisible and 50501 are a little different since they were created to plan protests specifically, so they are kinda like a glue that gets all these interest groups to show up on the exact same day.

Yesterday's protests were organized through many groups working together. 50501 was one of them, as were MoveOn, labor unions like SEIU, Sunrise, DSA, OurRevolution, the Women's March, and many others.
"Hand's Off" was the branding chosen for the day of protest by Indivisible, another large activist group. https://handsoff2025.com/about-1

Late summer maybe?

The format balance is healthy but it's just boring seeing the engine/staple cards for so long. Beans and Rage are perfectly fine power-wise but they just set the deck types way too much and everything has to conform to those cards. Sure, the threats have changed but the framework is stagnant

Good bans. I still hate long standard but not much to be done about that.

There are many protests, more than there were in 2017, but they are mostly smaller in attendance. The difference is the media coverage. And you are right, there hasn't been a single event like the Women's March that has broken through to international coverage.

Dangers is seriously underappreciated by romance enjoyers dissuaded by the premise, but its one of the best coming of age stories I've seen. I'm watching and liking Blue Box and Solo Leveling right now.

Justice for the Buffy! We'll get it next year. Those small owls had to knock out all the big birds. This is a really striking portrait and coloration though!

This article does almost seem written to downplay the book's most damaging claims. They buried the Myanmar story at the end and the detailed account the author gave to the carelessness with which the execs treated the riots and violence. Another anecdote missing from this article is how they are pushing weight loss and beauty ads to teen girls right when they delete a recently taken selfie and how execs responded when this was brought up. Not that that is news exactly as we already know Meta does that sort of thing

This sounds great. If you end up writing something for the other commenter using a Linux server and the Messenger bridge I would love to hear if there were any pitfalls to avoid!

Damn the Rheinland and that whole river valley is oof. Industrialization and its consequences

Yeah there is some cool and powerful stuff in the set but there are just too many tried and true strategies. I don't think I'm a fan of this long rotation.

Surprised there isn't more oculus in the top 8. Didn't realize overlords were still so dominant.
Pretty notable that there are almost no Aetherdrift cards in these lists, though that graveyard deck is pretty cool - it just looks way too fair

I think it refers to a cap (hat), because culturally when you take off your cap it means you are being truthful. Similar to the term "hat in hand"
I looked into it more and seems like the origins of cap meaning to lie is unclear. So looks like I was off base

They might like thar type of content at [email protected], which has 1k subscribers already.

That's exactly where I'm at too. The side plots are more self contained and feel easier to plan since they don't have to tie in

Are you liking LCI limited?

I've been really enjoying this set, it seems a bit slower and more complex to me than the last couple. All the colors except green seem decent and even the aggro decks need a lot of synergy to function well.
I went 7-1 with this Dimir Descend deck on the back of [[Aclazotz]] and two Uchies. The playset of [[Echo of Dusk]] was really good - turns out a 2 mana 3/3 lifelink is pretty dece.
