I liked your explanation and thought it was good. I'm confused by multiple people in 2026 commenting and voting in a place called "leftymemes" not understanding such a basic concept as "racism requires privilege".
You can tell it's true even by thinking about it quickly without any deep analysis: a definition of racism based purely on prejudice would treat "cracker" and the n-slur at categorically equivalent, which is obviously ridiculous.
Oh, no. To clarify, I was quoting from one of my previous comments that user replied to in the same thread, above where we were currently discussing. It was an "as I said".
Edit: I literally said "as I said" before the quote.
No, "Frankly I usually just default to saying fuck the Anglo-Saxons." appears to be an attempt to say that's an equivalent or better statement than saying "white people" because being "racist" against white people might hurt actually marginalized groups. That's not true and I explained why.
This makes no sense. A lot of non Anglo-Saxons are as white as Anglo-Saxons. As I said:
the distinction between “white people” and “white skin people” makes it clear that the boundaries of “white people” are in effect defined by who is not a target of racism
If I understand your point correctly, it's that some people who are sometimes in the category of "white" can be victims of racism in some situations because they are on the margins of whiteness. That's true, but it doesn't make racism against white people real.
Saying "racist" things about white people is not racist against those on the margins of whiteness who are sometimes conditionally white, such as Slavic people. You can be racist against Slavic people in certain contexts by saying racist things about Slavic people (and generally in those contexts Slavic people are not treated as "white" because that's what "white" means), but not by saying "racist" things about white people (which isn't possible).
Yes, it's always projection. The reason they're afraid of these things is because the imperial core did them and still does them and they project that on the global south.
White people can be racist against white skin people cause the concept of race is social construct designed by oppressors to colonize and oppress anyone.
This is true, but the distinction between "white people" and "white skin people" makes it clear that the boundaries of "white people" are in effect defined by who is not a target of racism. It is, as you say, a social construct.
I'm genuinely baffled that you think I or other people who have said the same thing are being ironic. As others have pointed out, racism requires power structures. Anti-white "racism" isn't real because it has no power structure to enforce it.
This makes me think of the image of Spongebob with a German flag pin looking smug straightening out a nameplate in front of him labeled "#1 Genocide Understander". I can't find it now, lol.
