All I can say is: I've been trained for academic writing for like 8 years now, and I still struggle to do it without a good template. Formatting in a text editor is it's very own skillset IMO.
Most important is to make a skeleton, a loose progression of stuff like1.X2.Y2.1 Z
And look at ONLY that for a while and think 'what do I want to reach each chapter? Why is this chapter here and not earlier/after? What needs to be said before this can make sense, and is the flow of it logical?what will be the next question on my readers mind, and does this Adress it?'
Also think about who you are writing for. What do you need to explain, and what can you expect as given etc
Jesus christ no. What we need to do is stop flying, stop driving cars, stop eating meat and fish and dumping waste in the ocean... We cannot bioengineering all the coral. Being open to new technology to save us, at some point just resembles waiting for Jesus to rapture you on doomsday.
Won't ever? What gives you this security? Hasn't it already stopped temporarily a few times? I've heard the Gulfstream stopping discussed as a possible tipping point several times
We had a big fat goose as a quest thing in Fellowship 2e once. The city was separated into trades guilds, and in the area of those that do woodcarving, the goose snuck up on people and honked and made them cut themselves. All the fingerless woodcarvers chipped in to get the party to help.
That was a great day in that campaign. Afterwards, the overlords general and the giants attacked town and destroyed everything, and that encounter was just barely harder than the goose chase. Love that system.
Jesús christ yes. I used to run or play 3-4 or sometimes more days a week, plus work, uni, gym, girlfriend... That is not sustainable for a longer time than maybe half a year
Not every dnd does it wrong. I'm pretty sure 4th Ed had it right. Pathfinder and 13th age are also kinda just editions of dnd, and they both have very tight encounter math!
I am pretty sure this is a side caliper brake. The front one broke 1-2 days ago while I was in the supermarket, see Pic.
Is this someone tampering with it or just broke because oigf material stress/oldness?
Anyways, I don't feel safe with only one brake, and truth be told, if it rains I don't feel safe with both because they do not pull enough especially if there is other traffic.
I consider myself decently knowledgeable and have most tools, I have done a lot harder repairs, but up unhtil now I've only ever had V-brakes so I am out of my depth with this, and especially with brakes I do not want to just try stuff.
Where can I learn how to adjust and make the back one have more pull, and to fix the front one? Here's another pic
I played starforged, I think that's the same in space. Been meaning to read and run it ever since but you know how it is....
Especially the solo play the intrigues me.I steal from the roll tables for that for the games though hehe.
Base ironsworn is free BTW as far as I know, for anyone reading
