  • The Fairphone 6 is also great!

  • I'm a big fan of /e/OS, use it daily and love it. As I understand it, it is as secure as Google Android, just tons more private. So security wise it seems fine to me, my risk profile is just regular mainstream

  • 😂

  • Ah yes Free Speech

  • Socialhome!

  • Fairphone is already collaborating with a fork, /e/OS

  • Gos only subdues to Google phones, this is actually it's own project

  • To be fair making a phone is likely not a cheap endeavor

  • Nope that's just FUD from certain other OS developers who are super toxic against literally everyone

  • This is actually incorrect, on almost all devices that Murena sells the bootloader is locked. I think you are confusing their official builds with their community/volunteer builds

  • Better than Play Services, microG the European open source alternative

  • No worries Google's actions against installing apks from outside the Play Store will only influence Android, not any of the other operating systems that are based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP)

  • It is mind-blowing how dumb this man's texts are when you actually listen to what he says

  • /e/OS fan here, imo it combines a great design and interface with lots of privacy options. Super easy to use. Also the combo with the Murena Cloud is incredibly useful Best deGoogle option imo

  • This is a great explanation thanks

  • /e/OS works with Android Auto

  • You've got to be kidding me, have you seen the Mastodon account of GrapheneOS? There is no haressnent towards them, the only ones doing the haressnent are GrapheneOS.

  • I see many democrats talking about how they would like to change things, they appear far more progressive than Republicans to me

  • No a fruit is a biologically defined thing right? On the vegetables I'm with you
