  • For decades, my opinions were largely forged by those of Noam Chomsky.

    But Noam Chomsky recently turned out to be just another deplorable after all.

    For me, this is probably one of the most painful side effects of the Epstein scandal: I always thought highly of Chomsky, and losing one of the major pillars of intellectual honesty and probity in my life was genuinely painful.

    So now, I just form my own opinions myself. Because you know what? At the end of the day, the only person I can truly trust for honest intellectual guidance is me.
