  • I am vehemently anti-death penalty. That said, I have zero problem whatsoever with making violation of the public trust and willful abuse of power by elected and appointed officials into a capital offense. And, quite honestly, for crimes as egregious as this, maybe that punishment should be publicly executed.

  • I work as a slot technician. One of our jobs is moving slot machines with hand trucks. When setting them down, one typically counterbalances the weight of the machine with their body. I wanna get catapulted across the casino floor, fly through the air while screaming like Goofy, and hit the wall leaving a silhouette-shaped hole.

    Thankfully, the only injury I should sustain is little coins going around my head.

  • Amazing how the "2nd protects the 1st" crowd are suddenly so silent. There only a few thousand ICE agents in Minneapolis. The metropolitan area has a few million people in it, and statewide statistics indicate that there is at least 1 gun in a little less than half the households statewide. That's over a million guns in Minneapolis-Saint Paul alone. If the people wanted to, the city could be de-iced very quickly. Expanding that nationwide, if the "2nd protects the 1st" crowd put their money where their mouth is, we wouldn't even be having this problem.
