Saints Row 2 was one of my favorite games mainly because you had the option of picking people up and throwing them to fight.

I made my character a giant, and I'm pretty sure I played through ~75% of the game without ever needing to use a weapon because I could just pick everybody up and take them out with one or 2 throws. I also remember giving her the derpy face option.

Emails in 2015 and 2016 show that Epstein would have another officer, Glen Samuel, come to Little Saint James to perform steel pan drums—a side gig Samuel informally advertised at one point on his Facebook page. In a January 2015 email thread, Epstein asked an associate to clarify Samuel’s rate. The associate replied, “Mr. Samuel says he does not intend to charge you. He considers you a friend and was doing this for you. If you wish to give him something, he is appreciative, but there is no fee.” Samuel did not respond to a request for comment.

I already posted the Guardian article, but they didn't include the name of the agent who played steel drums for Epstein or the part about him insisting he perform as a favor to a friend.

Even though this whole things is so far beyond the realm of bizarro world, for some reason reading about the steel pan CBP agent performing on pedo Island was especially salient in a "how the fuck is this reality?!?" kind of way.

The onslaught was, undoubtedly, fuelled by algorithmic calculations and the automatisation of warfare. (Fatafta and Leufer 2024). Indeed, AI-driven targeting enabled the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) to find targets faster than they could be struck (Mhajne 2025). In practice, this meant that once the bombing began, there was a virtually endless “pipeline” of targets. One intelligence officer stated, “the targets never end”. Once an attack is launched, the commander has “another 36,000 waiting” (McKernan & Davies 2024). The integration of these AI systems has accelerated the pace and expanded the scale of attacks to a degree that experts say “incomparable with any 21st-century air campaign”, with devastating consequences for Gaza’s civilians (Airwars 2024).

Foremost among these AI tools is a system code-named “Lavender,” an algorithm developed by Unit 8200 (Israel’s elite signals intelligence unit) to automate the identification of human targets. An investigative report by +972 Magazine and Local Call (Abraham 2024) revealed that the Lavender algorithm assigns each person a probabilistic score indicating the likelihood that they are members of an armed group (Mhajne 2025). Six Israeli intelligence officers involved in the process testified that the system marked up to 37,000 Palestinians as suspected militants and identified their homes as targets for attack (Abraham 2024). These were predominantly low-ranking individuals.

Consciousness could last hours after ‘death’

I've always wondered if your personal version of heaven or hell in the afterlife boils down to the deepest parts of your self and lingering consciousness tied to the neurochemical and electrical activity that happens after cardiac arrest.

You know how our sense of time is so warped when we dream, and you can fall asleep for just a few minutes but from your perspective a dream can feel so much longer?

I figure if there was ever the perfect time for your subconscious to come back and either bite you in the ass with guilt, shame, and regret for all the the things you've done that you never set right, or alternatively, maybe give you a sense of comfort if you feel you have made peace with your life on earth, it would probably be during this time.

Think of it like being in an isolation tank. Maybe some fuzzy outside information still makes its way in to influence what's going on inside of the tank, but mostly it's just you and your thoughts for (what feels like) all eternity.
