You, Riko, and Chika Theme

  • WM - I3
  • Bar - Polybar
  • Terminal - Alacritty
  • Compositor - Picom
  • Audio Visualizer - Cava

I had a great time making this theme. Was really trying to get a full Aqours wallpaper to make a theme with but with how colorful some of them are it is hard to make a color palette for them. I will eventually get around to making one.

Kumiko Oumae Theme

  • WM - I3
  • Bar - Polybar
  • Terminal - Alacritty
  • Compositor - Picom

I finally have my Dot Files Repo up and going so it will be available in all future posts. As for this theme, I was very unsure of a good terminal theme but the gruvbox light theme was a good choice and was recommended to me by a fellow ricer.

Saint Snow Theme

  • WM - I3
  • Terminal - Alacritty
  • Distro - Garuda
  • Bar - Polybar
  • Wallpaper

I stuck with my original bar layout still but I added some new fonts and changed the colors up. I also went ahead and made a custom terminal color scheme to match the new Saint Snow wallpaper. I did this at 2am because the sleep demons told me that the system must look pretty.

My first rice (redux)

My last post was removed, probably due to not having an accompanying message.

Here's my first rice! I couldn't find any theme/dotfiles that I liked (most were dark purple/dark blue or somewhere in between), so I decided to roll up my sleeves and make my own.

The color scheme I extracted from the wallpaper.

spacegreyed

after experimenting with dracula, nord, catpuccin, gruvbox, solarized, and many others, i've settled on spacegrey.

Okay, I might have loved 5.21 Breeze's little red circle on the close button too much

I know, stock theme and all of that, but did I tell you guys HOW MUCH I FUCKING LOVE this teeny tiny addition to KDE's stock theme? I love this thing so much I made my entire system's color palette around it. So there you go.

  • Tiling: Quarter Tiling (used Krönkhite for a while, preferred this);
  • Plasma theme: ChromeOS Dark;
  • Color scheme: Breeze-Dark-Red (my custom scheme);
  • Window decorations: Stock Breeze-Dark (but without the gradient on the top bar and shadows set to small instead of medium);
  • Icons: Papirus-Dark (Yaru color scheme with Papirus-Folders);
  • Terminal: kitty (with my custom kitty.conf file);
  • Chromium's NTP: NightTab (with my custom theme);
  • Wallpaper (with some color corrections to match the theme).
