Just reaching out to see if there are any Kids on Bikes players active in this community! I've been working on a tool to support play groups at my local games shop, and I thought -- why not open it up to more people?
It's 100% free and open source (GLPv3), there are zero features stuck behind a paywall, ads, or other monetization and I intend to keep it that way. Full disclosure: there is a link to donate to the project, but it's out of the way and will never be shoved in anyone's face.
I want to make the tool better for anyone and everyone who uses it, so if it interests you at all please check it out! It's called Handlebar Heroes. Feel free to make suggestions, ask questions, give strongly worded criticisms, whatever you like. I'm here for it all. 🙂
Thanks so much for your time! I hope someone gets some use out of it.
A few weeks ago I have found a very nice jam on itch.io called Road Trip Game Jam 2025 which was really inspiring and chill. At the time there were already a lot of really good little video games. I decided to hop on and try to submit something physical instead and many coffees later my solo TTRPG Focus on the Road was born.
It's a chill game about driving across a big country, meeting interesting people and visiting some cool landmarks. You will take some pictures of your new friends and visited places using an instant camera and try to continue your trip before the gas tank is empty. As many solo RPGs it's not really a game you can win or lose, it is mostly a tool to narrate a cool story while listening to some old rock music. The main mechanic is interacting with any hitchhikers you might take with you, trying to find a good discussion topic, listening to the radio together, etc. It's absolutely non-violent, features no cigarettes, drugs or booze and has been designed to be
The future is bleak. Climate change has wrecked the world and has created unliveable conditions. But humanity always persists. The rich developed humanoid Syths to transfer their minds into. The rest of us? Well, everybody had one of those little robot-teddie AI assistants that was the latest craze...
Fluff n' Fury is a rules-lite TTRPG set in a dystopian future where you go on missions with your rag tag crew and wreak havoc on the rich! The game is best for 3-6 people with a GM, and uses a simple d6 system loosely based on the Year Zero Engine. Easy to learn an
I recently played the amazing Mothership RPG with a group of friends, and boy was it fun! It inspired me to make a one shot adventure so I could introduce another friend group to this great RPG system, and for shits and giggles I though to put it on itch as well for anyone that might be interested :^)
*Bio scientist Aisha, Graduand Marine Miguel, Translator Tim and spaceship pilot Aiko have been hastily assembled for a classified mission issued by their employee, the Ministry of Intergalactic Relations. Tasked to retrieve a mysterious offering—a "gift"—from an unknown alien species to humanity's Empress, the crew descend on a strange, jungle infested planet . What s
Hey guys, we from Internal Rock Studio are back with a Big Development Update of our Squad Based TTRPG. You can check out here.
If you never heard about us, we made a itchio page for the rule set. You can get a rough idea of what the rule set is about there.
If you want to be kept in the loop you can join our patreon for free, we will make public posts about its development there. If you want to go above and beyond you can support us there, we will use the money to improve the project.
Experience fantascience roleplaying at the end of time. Escape the end of history.
The eternal civilization is perfect. So say the gods, the machines. Will you defy the endless circle of awakening and forgetting? Can you kick a hole through the sky?
A bit of a late post, so most of you have probably seen this already.
It looks like the cheapest virtual only buy in for the full game is $150, while the cheapest physical full game is $195 (+shipping/import tax!)
There are some links in there for some early reviews and play-throughs too. These only look to be the Stormlight system though, so I assume the Mistborn/Scadrial (an any other planets) are still in the works.
I wrote this as part of the CBR+PNK Jam, and if people aren't familiar CBR+PNK is a super condensed Forged in the Dark one shot system where you play a group of cyberpunk operatives on their last run.
Cloud Crawl was sort of an experiment to see if I could capture the sort of procedural generation depth crawl games (as epitomized in Stygian Library) in a small sized single pamphlet package. I'm pretty pleased with how it turns out, and I'm also pretty sure no one has ever done a depth crawl in a binary tree before (happy to be proven wrong here if someone can find an example!).
