Deep Purple originally didn't want to release Made In Japan commercially as they believed it would be impossible to reproduce the quality and experience of their stage act on an LP. This created a strong demand for bootlegs which led to a court case and later the official release of the album.

Texas Sun is a collaboration between Khruangbin and singer-songwriter Leon Bridges. They later worked together again on another EP by the name Texas Moon.
Personal Thoughts
Khruangbin was recommended to me by the same friend that recommended Dope Lemon and Parcels. I have a busy day today so I selected this short EP, and I really enjoyed the music. My favorite track was the titular track, Texas Sun, the instrumentation
