I am leaving in a few days...

So Friday is the d-day for me.
I will tour for half a year, starting in Madrid and don't have a plan. Only thing is that I have to be back home in June.

The pyrenees to me seem very challenging. Enjoy your adventure! Would love to read an update once in a while!
I will certainly give some updates, be it here or on mastodon.
As for Pyrenees it will be some time to get there, in a spring I want to have decent weather for that. Maybe I will miss them along the coast.
Me too! The whole thing sounds rad and exactly what you should do. I'm sorry you lost your job, but you sound like you are handling a transition in a healthy way. May be the healthiest way possible....
Don't be sorry about losing my job, my boss/owner of the company just decided to liquidate it. No hard feelings on either side (maybe on his that he had to do it).
I wouldn't call it that healthy transition, more like evolution of life events.
Hell yeah, you're doing it. What are you going to do when you arrive in Madrid, do you have a first bit of a plan or are you going to decide which direction to cycle when you know which way the wind blows :) Personally i really like having a plan, a broad one that is.
I left lemmy (just forgot to delete this account here, will do later), but i will check in from time to time to see what you're up to! Best wishes!
First bit of plan is to get to the hostel and get some sleep I will be traveling since 3 am.
After that it is just idea of a plan. I thought about Valencia or Barcelona (about 1-2 week trip) and then follow the coast to Gibraltar. I heard that after the floods Barcelona is ok but Valencia isn't, so I will probably head directly to Gibraltar.
Why did you left? I was wandering what happened to you.
