New EU sanctions package will allow the countries excluded from the Russian oil embargo to export it back to Ukraine

So the Russian government is dismantling the Ukrainian power grid with one hand, and helping the EU keep the UAF war machine running with the other. Yeah.

  • So, Ukraine back in 2000's was stealing russian gas because the very preferential prices were still too much for them, and that was actually the beginning of the chain of events directly leading to what is happening now, and now they would still buy russian energy but 50 times more expensive with a war on top.

    Banderist logic 101

    • Banderites I don't much care for. It's the Russian oil companies that piss me off. Don't tell me they didn't see this coming. Don't tell me no-one in FSB or SVR had predicted this could happen. There are our countrymen dying in the trenches and what does the government do? Why it helps EU help people that are killing them! But the traitor is obviously some bloke reading about gays.

      • Even if we disregard capitalist realism of selling to the enemy, Russia want and must sell energy to Europe, even regradless of economy, because it divide its enemies and dig the ground under EU. And commodities are impossible to control anyway when sold.

    • So wouldn't this be the west paying for Ukrainian oil then. Ukrainian economy is basically running on western money at this point, and if Ukraine is going to be importing Russian oil from third parties then it's basically the west footing the bill for that.

      • Two things:

        • Who is getting the money from the oil sales?
        • Who is footing the bill in the west?

I'll be honest with you, I am not at all worried about the west in this situation. They've plenty of petit bourgeosie and labour artistocracy to fleece in order to fund the war. What I am worried is our homegrown bourgeousie giving the enemy tools to kill our proletarians with.

    • What?
