"One of the big challenges is to find a new way to address what is currently a trial-and-error process so that more people can get better sooner," Williams said. "Bringing in these objective cognitive measures like imaging will make sure we're not using the same treatment on every patient."
It would be incredible if researchers found a way to overcome this hurdle. Going through a long process to find what works is a massive pain that can involve lots of negative side-effects.
- Not to mention that some of those side effects can be seriously dangerous.

This subtype sounds like it has more overlap with ADHD symptoms than most other kinds of depression do.
- That's interesting because my wife was suffering from some severe depression. Like not getting out of bed depression. Her psychiatrist tried like every depression meds, even some brand new ones that we had to get some a specialist and nothing seemed to help it. Then he prescribed her Vyvanse and it has been a game changer for her. Completely got her out of that funk.
