  • ELI5... How come I can have a 492 page manual in PDF form full of text and line drawings and links and pretty colours which weighs in at a little over 8MB... but if I try to print a 10 page extract from it (which is text only), it blows out to either 14MB (Ghostwriter), or 35MB (Microsoft PDF Printer), and is no longer text? Just like... screenshots or something.
