Gimme breakfast

Not the first time I've seen a swallow nest on one of these alarm boxes. I wonder if it's just a convenient platform, unexposed and out of reach of predators, or if there is something more to it.

It might also be warm, what's in those boxes other than the light and speaker?

- I think it's mostly mud but it looks the same as the poop. I have no idea if they poop the nest or what.

They've flown the coop/roost/nest since yesterday.
