No, My Work Is Not AI. — Haley Nelson
No, my work isn’t AI and I don’t take the assumption as a compliment. AI’s assault on the art industry creates indifference in viewers and a sense of distain for art they can’t easily figure out.

The first line of the blog post reads:
Being accused of leveraging AI to create art isn’t a compliment. It’s a hard slap in the face and, yes, that’s a hill I’ll die on.
I came across this article when I came across a fellow creator also having accusations of using AI to "create" or "inspire" their works thrown at them. I felt this was an appropriate place to share it and it rings so true to my soul for what it feels like.
It's a short read (only a couple minutes) but the artist also has some work and their creative process on display in the blog post.
