Russia Accuses US of backing out of alleged Ukraine Territory Surrender Deal

Russians are just so stupid. Their idiotic hubris has them demanding territory of Ukraine to ceded and enforced by the U.S. A country that is no longer providing aid to Ukraine, and doesn't have any basis to give away it's territory.

I mean - in real terms - they're trying to anoint the U.S. as the negotiator for Ukraine, because the President is a bought stooge, but - also - because their homicidal hubris refuses to accept that they should negotiate with an inferior, little brother race directly at all.

The U.S. has no further direct leverage over Ukraine. They spent that when they started to cut support in 2024, and it made no strategic difference at all. So - the Vulgar Talking Yam changed to trying to trigger a global receission, and invade his allies, likely to try and get them to take him very seriously, so that they became more concered with recession, and their own security, rather than continue to support Ukraine.

But again, Trump tried to use leverage he doesn't actually have, and bully people into giving him something for nothing. As he's always done. But - finding that for Europeans, existential threats of conquest are more serious business than ripping off property developers by not paying for work they do for you.

Russia has itself in quite a jam. Their last big card to play was Trump - but if Trump can't force a favorable settlement that they don't really deserve on military terms...then what use is the U.S. to them?
