Why is this a community?

Other social media platforms have a place for people to talk about cancer and support each other. Lemmy didn't, so I made one.

My youngest child has Leukemia (B-cell accute lymphoblastic leukemia)

It's fucking scary. I didn't know where to talk about it, so here we are.
